You tackle the following challenges:

How do I improve indoor air quality

That's how you do it

Some cleaning agents such as bleach or chlorine can cause respiratory symptoms or damage the skin. Vacuuming creates a lot of dust. This can also lead to respiratory complaints, especially in people with allergies.

Tips

  • Choose healthy cleaning products, such as ecological products. Avoid using harmful cleaning agents such as bleach, chlorine, ammonia or acetic acid. The label contains a lot of information about the possible harmful effects of each polish. Also, do not use more detergent than necessary.
  • It is better to clean with a damp cloth or mop than with a vacuum cleaner. Definitely don't vacuum every day.
  • Ventilate well during and after cleaning. Open the windows all the way to ventilate.
  • Brush when there are few people in the building. Better brush after closing time than just before opening hours.
  • Do not dispel bad odors with an air freshener, but by ventilating. Air fresheners contain volatile chemicals (VOCs)
  • Inform the cleaning staff about how to clean healthily.
